So, here’s presenting MorphoWiz, a cloud-based application that lets you gain the upper hand in image processing and analysis.
Challenge
The challenge at hand was to address the issue that Morphowiz, a product intended for the USA and Europe regions, was facing difficulties in being launched due to user experience concerns. In response to this, ImageProVision completely overhauled the application so that it is more accessible and user-friendly, specifically targeting scientific officers and researchers who will be better able to adopt and utilize the product.
The earlier application developed by ImageProVision was tough to navigate for a new user. It required multiple clicks even to perform a simple process. Also, the look and feel of the application were not as per contemporary times.
Additionally, there were many negatives in the application. The User Interface of the cloud-based app was very bland. With the technological advancements happening across the globe, the application (earlier called IPVCloud) had designs that didn’t go as per the latest trends.
Since the primary motto of the cloud-based application is to detect the minutest details inside an image, uploading an image and getting the results was a frustrating experience.
Our Approach & Solution
Designing a cloud-based application is a tough challenge. There are many minute details that we need to think of. However, with rigorous research, our UI team managed to bring a breakthrough. The new design of the cloud-based application focussed on saving time for the user. We ensured a maximum of 3 clicks were done to perform any action on the application.
The specialty of our team is that we make everything better. The cloud-based application, named as MorphoWiz, got a dash of new and rich colour to give it a better look and feel.
One of the highly requested features in the image analysis industry is the “zoom in and out.” In the new UI, our team separated the zoom-in and zoom-out buttons to give a more expansive display of the processed image.
One of the biggest headaches in the earlier UI was the challenge with image uploads. With the revamped design, image uploads don’t take much time and can be done in just seconds.
